Traditionally a light is left burning on an empty stage. Some believe that the light is there to allow the ghosts of former actors to perform when the theatre is closed.
As part of the national Museums at Night festival, The Georgian Theatre Royal Youth Theatre is offering atmospheric tours of the Theatre in the ghost light. Go behind the scenes, hear about our history and meet the ghosts of some of the actors that have trodden these boards in the past.
Each tour will culminate in a dramatic presentation by our Youth Theatre. Come along if you dare!
