The Georgian Youth Theatre Summer School steps into the shadows of the stories we think we know.
Twisted: The Untold Story is the public show performed at the end of the Summer School. It takes place in the long abandoned Fairytale High Court, reopened for the first time in centuries, where forgotten villains finally have the chance to speak for themselves.
They claim their tales were twisted, their motives distorted and their names condemned for generations. As each witness takes the stand, familiar stories unravel into something darker, stranger, and far more complex.
Nothing in this courtroom is simple. The heroes’ perfect façades begin to crack, the villains’ confessions expose buried secrets, and the magic that binds their world stirs in the pursuit of truth.
In the end, the legendary characters must confront the roles they were given and decide who they truly want to be. No one is the villain in their own story, so who decides the roles we play?
